Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Providence, RI team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, ensure accurate data entry, and provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

The role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training; Labcorp offers growth opportunities, competitive pay of $18.00-$23.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
