Job summary

Labcorp in Providence, RI is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, and to collect specimens for various tests. You will enter patient data accurately and handle billing as needed.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification or completed training, and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience, with strong customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities include travel to additional sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
