Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Leesville, LA team. You will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled blood collections and be the face of Labcorp. Growth opportunities are available within the organization, with a schedule Monday-Thursday 8:00 am–4:30 pm and some Friday hours.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred are 2+ years phlebotomy in a clinical setting and LabCorp experience. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital setting preferred.
• 2+ years assisting diverse patient groups (pediatric to geriatric).
• Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a color vision test and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed and travel to additional sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative duties and travel to additional sites when needed.
