Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Foley, AL team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect samples for screens, and ensure precise data entry and patient records.

You will also handle billing-related tasks, prepare specimens for tests, and maintain logs while delivering exceptional patient service. Occasional travel to other sites may be required, and the role supports growth within LabCorp's patient-centered network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Experience with pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
