Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Avenel, NJ. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient information logs.

Responsibilities include specimen preparation, billing support, and travel to additional sites as needed. We value exceptional customer service and the ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training may be substituted for work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
