Job summary

Labcorp in Princeton, WV is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collecting specimens for various tests and ensuring accurate data entry, with a focus on exemplary patient service.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED plus phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
