Job summary

Labcorp in Decatur, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a medical clinic team. The role involves blood draws by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collecting specimens for various tests, and providing accurate data entry and courteous patient service.

Schedule: Wednesday–Friday 11am–8pm, Saturday 8am–8pm; additional shifts may be required. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and a phlebotomy certification or approved training; 2+ years of phlebotomy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or approved training mandatory.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred (Labcorp experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
