Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collection and specimen processing in a busy hospital laboratory. You will greet patients, perform venipuncture or finger/heel sticks, and ensure proper labeling and data entry for testing.

Knowledge of specimen handling and hospital workflows is essential. The role requires a GED or equivalent, plus phlebotomy experience or approved certification.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience or certification in lieu of experience.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and instruct on specimen collection methods.
• Draw blood via finger sticks, heel sticks, or venipuncture and collect other specimens.
• Label specimens accurately and enter data into the system.
• Prepare samples for microbiology, hematology, serology, blood bank, and urinalysis.
• Assist with clerical duties by answering telephone calls.
