Job summary

You will perform phlebotomy for inpatients, outpatients, and external facilities, handle specimen labeling and processing, and assist with billing and reports. You must hold a California CPT license and a current BLS card. The role involves interacting frequently with patients and staff and may require commuting

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy for inpatients, outpatients, and outside facilities.
• Venipuncture and finger sticks with proper labeling and processing.
• Enter orders and maintain daily accession log; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Communicate test orders, results, and pertinent information to staff and supervisors.
• Provide confidential, accurate patient care and assist training of new staff.
