Qualifications

• Proof of High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certificate from an accredited school or on-the-job training is required.
• WA Department of Health Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy Certification must be obtained within six months.
• ASCP registration is a plus.
• Six months phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients and ensure proper labeling.
• Prepare the testing room with proper tools and supplies.
• Educate patients about the blood draw process and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
