Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant to perform specimen collection (venipuncture/fingerstick) and preparation, plus related duties in a hospital setting. The role supports phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point-of-care testing.

The position requires WA licensure with Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification, phlebotomy training, and a high school diploma or GED. Two years of hospital phlebotomy experience and strong customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• WA Department of Health license and MA phlebotomist certification required.
• Technical training/certification in phlebotomy required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years hospital phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience with phlebotomy across age groups preferred.
• ASCP registration a plus.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection (venipuncture/fingerstick) and preparation.
