Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Beaumont, TX team. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain patient records while delivering exceptional customer service at multiple patient service centers or client offices.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, specimen handling, and travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training are preferred, with potential for growth and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 1 year or more experience as a Phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
