Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Fairbanks, AK. This position requires venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen collection for various tests, and meticulous data entry and billing-related tasks.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, accurate specimen handling, and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional overtime. Prior Labcorp phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training is preferred.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
