Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Soldotna, AK. You will perform blood collections for all ages and support patient care in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred candidates have 6+ months of phlebotomy experience or an accredited certification. Overtime may be required and travel to additional sites is possible.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Soldotna, AK. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more months of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program

PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
