Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP in Honolulu, HI is seeking a full-time phlebotomy technician to ensure proper collection, handling, and processing of laboratory specimens. The role supports multiple locations with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and PHI confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong reading/writing/analytical skills. Training on PPE and lab safety will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s license.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are appropriately collected (including phlebotomy), processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Support multiple locations.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
