Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP is seeking a full-time phlebotomy/ specimen collection professional for Honolulu, HI. The role emphasizes correct specimen collection, processing, routing, and storage to support patient care.

The position requires a high school diploma, prior training or experience in specimen collection, a valid driver’s license, and strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will work with lab equipment and follow PPE and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s license.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, telephones, computers, and audible alarms.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are appropriately collected (including phlebotomy), processed, prepared, routed, and stored
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements
• Support multiple locations
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
