Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP in Hilo, Hawaii, is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Support Associate to support specimen collection, processing, and storage. Phlebotomy may be involved to ensure accurate patient care and timely testing.

You will work in a regulated lab environment with PPE requirements, uphold safety and quality standards, and contribute to a team that values accuracy and confidentiality in handling PHI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including centrifuges, telephones, and computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection, processing, preparation, routing, and storage.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
