Job summary

Labcorp in Dover, DE seeks a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team at Banning Street. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing specimens for testing, maintaining logs, traveling to additional sites as needed, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
