Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the team at Limestone Road in Wilmington, DE. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for screens and tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient records.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate specimen handling, and teamwork across patient service centers or client sites, with potential overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
