Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Mount Airy, NC. The role involves performing blood collections, collecting specimens for various tests, and ensuring accurate data entry and patient service.

The schedule is described as specific days and times with lunch breaks, and travel to additional sites may be required. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with bilingual English and Spanish skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as required.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
