Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist for our Washington, PA clinic, supporting patient care alongside the PACT team in a VA-affiliated environment.

The role involves phlebotomy, assisting with patient exams, specimen collection, and coordination with clinicians to ensure accurate lab results and timely reporting, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with VA and OIG standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate of an accredited program as approved by the state. Certified and experienced in phlebotomy preferred.
• Minimum two-years' experience as an MA in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting; government healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively assists with patient care and phlebotomy procedures.
• Coordinate with clinicians to collect specimens and ensure accurate lab results.
• Submit lab/radiology results to medical providers and maintain patient records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with VA/OIG requirements.
• Provide patient education and support enrollment/retention activities.
