Job summary

A-Team Solutions is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist for the VA clinic in Silverdale, WA. The position offers day shifts Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4pm, performing venipuncture on outpatient veterans and ensuring accurate accessioning of specimens.

You will log orders, comply with VA and CAP regulations, and follow SOPs, while communicating daily status and issues to team members and senior management. A High School diploma and NAACLS-certified training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required for the position.
• Completion of a NAACLS-certified phlebotomy training program.
• PBT or ASCP eligibility within 3 months of start date.

A-Team Solutions is seeking (1) Full-time Phlebotomist for the VA clinic in Silverdale, WA. This would be day shifts Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.

Job Duties:

Perform venipuncture procedures on outpatient veterans.

• Accession and process laboratory specimens in accordance with VA and College of American Pathologists regulations.
• Greet and log specimen orders in for outpatient veterans.

Requirements:

• High school graduate.
• Completed a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) certified phlebotomy training program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in phlebotomy in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
• Experience with accessioning of laboratory specimens
• Experience with processing of laboratory specimens
• Capable of reading standard operating procedures and adhering them to the current laboratory processes.
• Communicate clearly the daily status and problems about the laboratory output to team members and senior management of the service.
• Computer literate.
• Phlebotomy Technician (PBT), American Society of Clinical Pathology, or eligibility pending within 3 months of start date.
