Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Sedalia, MO clinic. You will perform blood collections, enter patient data, and prepare specimens for testing while delivering exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs for patients and samples.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
