Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist in Trinity, FL to perform blood collections and related duties. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, sample prep, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities include processing billing, ensuring accurate records, and delivering excellent customer service. A High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification is required, with preferred 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred qualifications include 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
