Responsibilities include data entry, billing support, and maintaining accurate specimen records. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or formal training from an accredited agency is acceptable in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
