Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. You will collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, while ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing of billing information. Maintain logs and provide superior customer service.

Travel to additional sites as needed. The schedule is 20 hours weekly, with Saturday 7am–11am and four rotating weekdays; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification must be from an accredited agency if no work experience
• Must pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation

Job Schedule

20 hours weekly, every Saturday from 7am-11am and 4 weekdays on a rotating schedule from 7am-11am.
