We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or client office. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Additionally, you will have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday (8:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Work Location: Worcester MA

Benefits: Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
2. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
3. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
4. Process billing information and collect payments when required.
5. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
6. Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
7. Provide superior customer service to all patients.
8. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
9. Travel to additional sites when needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency, or previous experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous LabCorp experience.

Expectations:

• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
