Phlebotomist - Hospital Based - 3rd Shift

Position Details: We are seeking a Phlebotomist for an inpatient/hospital setting. You will provide excellent customer service, perform specimen collections, and represent our company positively. Opportunities for growth are available within the organization.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Location: Worcester, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws via venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages.
• Collect specimens for various tests.
• Accurately enter patient data.
• Process billing and payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Deliver outstanding patient service.
• Handle administrative tasks as required.
• Travel to other sites when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified or trained as a phlebotomist through an accredited agency or relevant experience.
• Pass a color blindness test.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with LabCorp.
• In-patient phlebotomy experience.

Expectations:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
• Willingness to work overtime if needed.
