Advocate Health’s IL ACL Laboratories - Lutheran location is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist. The role is 20 hours per week, day shift from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and good communication abilities.
• Experience in a fast-paced health care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and collect venipuncture specimens.
• Label specimens correctly and ensure proper handling.
• Answer calls, assist with inventory, and support billing and data entry.
• Instruct staff and students in phlebotomy procedures.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
