Labcorp is seeking a Part Time Phlebotomist to join our Seattle team at 1200 12th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144. Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and billing processing.

Provide excellent patient service while maintaining logs and specimen integrity. The role requires a WA Phlebotomy license (MA-P) and prefers 6+ months of experience.

• 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:30am-1:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range

$21.87 to $32.28 per hour
