Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist at our Everett, WA location to collect blood specimens for testing, prepare samples for analysis and provide excellent patient service. You will enter data, support billing activities and ensure proper handling of specimens in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role offers full-time opportunities with a schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm and rotating Saturdays, along with a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing growth within the Labcorp network.

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington State Phlebotomy license (MA-P).
• Preferred 6+ months of phlebotomy experience.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• rotating Saturdays

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range

$21.87 to $32.28 per hour

• Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k)
• accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays)
• Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year
