Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Lynnwood, WA team. You will perform blood collections across age groups, collect various specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and efficient processing.

The role emphasizes exceptional patient service, daily data handling, and collaboration with the broader team. A WA phlebotomy license is required, with prior experience preferred and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• WA State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P).
• 6+ months of phlebotomist experience preferred.
• Able to pass a color blindness test and flexible to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Input patient data accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs and confidentiality.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Carry out administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 19401 40th Ave. Lynnwood, WA 98036

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client Office or Hospital. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM:

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range:

$21.87 to $32.28 per hour

Benefits:

• Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
