Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform donor registration, vital signs, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing, and related recordkeeping duties.
• Handle autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing, and other specialized blood collection services as assigned.
• Follow SOPs and ensure blood products meet FDA quality standards.
• Assist supervisor with daily paperwork and documentation.
• Communicate equipment concerns and donor questions to the supervisor.
• Educate donors about blood donation frequency and importance.
