Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED; reliable transportation and ability to lift 40 lbs are required. Fluency in Spanish adds additional pay. Competitive pay with bonuses at 6 months, 1 year, and 3 years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college classes are a plus.
• On-the-job training provided with no experience required.
• Must be reliable, punctual and able to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing duties and record keeping duties.
• Adhere to SOPs to ensure blood products meet FDA quality standards.
• Assist supervisor with daily paperwork and checks.
• Report equipment or procedure issues to supervision promptly.
• Assess donor needs and manage donor reactions during donation.
• Educate donors on donation frequency and blood product needs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
