Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong phlebotomy or customer service skills preferred.
• Previous experience in a lab or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draw in outpatient draw station.
• Process lab specimens in a timely manner.
• Order and transmit lab orders in the computer system.
• Respond to priority collection needs to obtain turnaround times.
• Label specimens accurately and maintain patient identification.
• Stock workstation and dispose of biohazard materials properly.
• Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
• All other duties as assigned.
