Job summary

COPC Brand in Reynoldsburg, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws at the outpatient draw station and to process specimens in line with Laboratory procedures.

This full-time role includes ordering and transmitting lab orders, prioritizing collections, identifying and labeling specimens, and maintaining a clean, compliant work area.

A high school diploma or GED is required; phlebotomy or customer service experience is preferred, with prior lab or clinical setting experience desired.

• Strong phlebotomy or customer service skills preferred.
• Previous experience in a lab or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draw in outpatient draw station. Process lab specimens in a timely manner.
• Order and transmit lab orders in the computer system.
• Respond to priority collection needs and organize work for timely turnaround time.
• Follow policies for proper patient identification and labeling of specimens.
• Stock workstation and maintain a clean, compliant work area; dispose of biohazard materials properly.
• Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested; perform other duties as assigned.
