Responsibilities

• Perform blood draw in outpatient draw station. Process lab specimens in a timely manner.
• Order and transmit lab orders in the computer system.
• Respond to priority collection needs and manage turnaround times.
• Label specimens with proper patient identification and labeling.
• Stock workstation and maintain a clean work area; dispose of biohazard materials properly.
• Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
• All other duties as assigned.
