Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Bilingual Spanish may be required based on service location.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and collect other specimens.
• Explain proper collection procedures to patients.
• Register patients and verify lab orders and billing information.
• Process, store, and transport specimens per lab requirements.
• Provide on-call and mobile service as needed.
