Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate the collection and handling of specimens including venipuncture, urine, and sperm collections.
• Schedule patients for laboratory testing.
• Educate patients on testing instructions and requirements for accurate results.
• Process specimens for in-house and/or off-site testing.
• Perform CLIA waived and moderately complex testing as directed and review results with supervisor.
• Monitor pending lab results to ensure timely reporting.
