Job summary

Kashi Clinical Laboratories seeks an experienced Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team in the Eugene area. You will collect, label, and transport samples for testing with strict adherence to CLIA, HIPAA, and safety protocols.

The role requires reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Training and support are provided as part of our team-based approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certificate (proof of certification required upon hire).
• Computer and technology proficient.
• Must maintain a current driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits and promotes the professional image of Kashi Clinical.
• Follow CLIA guidelines to correctly identify the patient before any specimen is obtained: Minimum of two identifiers.
• Obtain the proper sample by performing venipuncture and/or fingerstick.
• Label all samples with two unique identifiers.
• Maintain proper labeling of tubes and documentation for transport to the lab.
• Follow all Universal Precautions and OSHA Standards when handling specimens.
• Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain daily tallies of collections performed.
• Inform Phlebotomy Supervisor when a significant shift in collection volumes is noticed.
