Job summary

Hermitage Primary Care, a division of Summit Medical Group, seeks a phlebotomist with 2+ years of experience to join the practice in Hermitage, TN. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting blood collection and specimen handling.

Relocation to Mount Juliet is planned for January 2027. A High School Diploma is required; phlebotomy experience is essential. Salary will be commensurate with experience and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; vocational/college credits preferred.
• Two or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred; at least two years stated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for blood collection and communicate needs to supervisor.
• Perform venipuncture, arterial and capillary punctures as appropriate.
• Identify and label specimens accurately and promptly.
• Conduct designated laboratory testing.
• Assist donors before, during, and after donation.
• Maintain clean, stocked examination rooms and common areas.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and Corporate Compliance Program.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in site quality improvement activities.
