Heritage Medical Associates in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist or medical assistant for a full-time day shift at St Thomas West. The role focuses on accurate blood collection, specimen processing, and efficient patient flow.

You will label specimens, coordinate with nurses and physicians, manage supplies, and uphold safety and confidentiality in a busy clinical setting. Prior phlebotomy experience and proper training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy training and/or Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Certification in Phlebotomy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform proper specimen collection, mostly blood draws.
• Process samples and prepare for reference laboratory.
• Label specimens accurately with patient details.
• Maintain inventory of drawing station supplies.
• Deliver specimens and coordinate with nurses and physicians.
• Ensure timely test results and patient safety.
