Job summary

HNL Lab Medicine is seeking a per diem phlebotomy/lab assistant to collect specimens and support patient registration and order entry at our Carbon location. You will perform venipunctures, handle to-go specimen transport, and assist with basic lab workflows under supervision.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with 6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred, plus BLS certification. Reliable transportation and Spanish language skills may be needed based on service location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; bilingual Spanish may be required based on location.
• Must have reliable transportation and be accessible for travel within 25 miles.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures and collects specimens; explains collection procedures.
• Registers patients, enters orders, verifies billing information.
• Prepares, processes, and transports specimens per lab requirements; maintains accurate documentation.
