Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate from an approved phlebotomy course or 1 year phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and patient registration.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens by venipuncture and label samples accurately.
• Register patients and ensure correct demographic information for testing.
• Prepare specimens for transport and assist with processing as needed.
• Maintain clean and stocked phlebotomy work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients and lab staff to ensure timely results.
