RMA Northern California, soon to be Everleap Fertility, is hiring a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant for our Palo Alto clinic. You will support physicians and clinical staff, performing phlebotomy and assisting with patient care in a fast-paced fertility setting.

The role emphasizes compassion, attention to detail, and teamwork, with a 6:30 AM–3:30 PM schedule and rotating weekends/holidays. Prior MA experience and CPT-1 phlebotomy training are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
• Phlebotomy Program – CPT-1 required
• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Practice phlebotomy
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
• Phlebotomy Program – CPT‑1 Required

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
• EMR experience - preferred
