Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Reading, MA team. The role focuses on blood collection, specimen handling, and accurate data entry, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend work. You will support patient care and travel to additional sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or training, or relevant experience, and strong customer service and communication skills. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into systems.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients and support teams.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
