Job summary

Labcorp in Reading, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and customer service at a busy clinical site.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus phlebotomy certification or training. Preferred experience with LabCorp processes and strong communication skills. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
