Job summary

The American Red Cross in Rockville, MD is hiring a Donor Center Phlebotomist. This full-time role includes paid phlebotomy training, no prior experience required, and a route through donor centers to collect lifesaving blood donations at fixed sites.

You will support volunteers and ensure safety and compliance throughout the process. Schedule is 4 x 10-hour shifts with weekends required; starting rate is $19.97 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Customer service in public setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred but paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Interact with donors to explain donation process and its impact.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a welcoming, safe donor experience.
