Job summary

Interpath Laboratory, Inc. in Beaverton, OR is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist/Processor with excellent people skills to support patients and the lab team.

The role includes venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and ensuring sample integrity while following HIPAA and safety protocols. Schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and team members.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, monitor instrumentation alarms.
• Perform venipuncture for blood collection and prepare samples for lab testing.
• Verify specimen information and perform data entry.
• Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Follow safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participate in QA.
• Cover shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
