Job summary

Interpath Laboratory, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team in Washington. You will perform venipuncture, process samples, and ensure data accuracy while delivering patient‑centered service in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, MA-P certification, and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience, with strong communication and attention to detail. On-site role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Washington Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification (MA-P) required.
• At least 6 months of hands-on phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and professional interaction with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and answer phones; monitor instrumentation alarms.
• Perform venipuncture and collect required specimens for lab testing.
• Verify specimen information and perform data entry; correctly identify patients.
• Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while ensuring sample integrity.
• Follow safety, HIPAA, Medicare rules and participate in quality assurance; cover shifts at different sites as needed.
